Briery Road Farm Ponds

The views of the northern pond are a bit distant, but it is worth checking for migrating waterfowl that may drop in. The agricultural fields surrounding it can also be productive for Killdeer, sparrows, blackbirds, and other open country species. The southern pond offers closer views, and has muddy banks that make it an excellent place to check for waders and shorebirds during the appropriate seasons.

Accessibility: Located near the junction of Briery Road and Country Club Road are two farm ponds. The northern pond is the larger of the two, and is most easily viewed from Briery Road. A smaller pond is viewable from Country Club Road, and is situated much closer to the road.
